Truman to start work on new Molo Hotel

Liverpool’s Duke Street is set to be the home of a new development by Molo Hotels; a joint venture hotel from Holiday Inn Express and Indigo. Located in the centre of Liverpool’s busy retail district, the venue will neighbour some of the city’s busiest commercial attractions, including the Duke Street market and several beloved food and drink establishments.

North west design and build firm Truman will be starting work on the £25 million, 257-room hotel in July with a targeted completion of October 2022. Working in conjunction with Molo’s team, we’ll be bringing our expertise to the project to deliver this landmark development, utilising our client’s off-site prefabricated construction methods.

Truman Managing Director, David Wheeler said, “Liverpool is a city flourishing with development activity and we’re excited to be adding to the city’s growing choice of accommodation. Molo hotels are a much valued client and we’re looking forward to delivering a top quality build with them in 2022.”

The Duke Street area has seen an explosion of hotel developments recently and we’re proud to be bringing much-needed accommodation to the location for our client, Molo hotels. We look forward to getting our teeth stuck into this project in July.
