Project Update: Holiday Inn Express & Vignette, Liverpool

Truman is making progress on an ongoing project for Molo Hotels. Situated on Liverpool’s Duke Street, the vibrant location will form the backdrop of two new hotels, the Holiday Inn Express & Vignette, bringing much-needed accommodation to the popular central district of the city.

Encompassing 258 beds, the design is partitioned into two separate hotels, each with its distinct character, yet sharing mutual back-of-house facilities.

A notable feature of this structure is the full-height internal light well, which effectively channels daylight throughout the ground floor area. A testament to thoughtful planning and integration of modern techniques.

Externally, the structure promises to be a visual talking point, with its finishing in Proteus copper metal cladding and the durable Shackley mechanical brick-clad system.

The approach to this project is distinguished by the use of off-site modular construction techniques, efficiently integrating these atop a transfer deck. The city centre location has naturally presented its logistical challenges, but with Truman's expertise, these have been adeptly navigated.
